Tender estimating in Brisbane

Tendr prices commercial landscape tenders for Brisbane subcontractors: quantity takeoff, priced bill of quantities against your own rates, and the full submission package. We work from the drawings and price Australia-wide from Melbourne. Fixed fee per tender, quoted up front.

What we price

Five services, all priced per tender and all against your own rates: quantity takeoff, priced bill of quantities, tender submission, scope and contract review and variation pricing. Take one or take the lot. If you only want the measured quantities and intend to price them yourself, that is a common request and the fee drops accordingly. The services pages set out what each one covers and how the fixed fee works.

What is different about pricing a Brisbane package

State work comes through QTenders, with council and private commercial work arriving through the usual platforms and builders. Where the builder issues their own pricing schedule, we complete it in their format.

The subtropical wet season is the scheduling risk that changes a landscape price in Brisbane. Planting and turf establish fast, which helps, but wet-weather access, erosion and sediment control, and the practical loss of working days between November and March are real costs. A program that runs earthworks through the wet without an allowance is a program with a claim built into it.

Drainage and erosion control scope tends to be larger here than the equivalent southern package, and it is frequently split across the civil and landscape packages in a way the drawings do not make obvious. Working out which items are actually yours before pricing is worth more than sharpening the rates.

Frequently asked questions

Do you price erosion and sediment control?

Where it sits in the landscape scope, yes, measured and priced like any other item. Where it is ambiguous whether it belongs to the civil package or yours, that goes on the clarifications list before it goes into a price.

Are you based in Brisbane?

No. We are based in Melbourne and work Australia-wide. The takeoff is measured from the drawings, so the location of the project does not change how the work is done or what it costs.

Can you price around a wet-season program?

We price what the drawings and the program support, and flag where the two disagree. A landscape program running earthworks through the wet without an allowance is a clarification, not a rate adjustment.
